Im opening a new location (drop store) and would like your suggestions on marketing ideas. Do postcards work do I send out coupons. I have in the past for my one store have hired people to go door to door to hand out flyers, this seemed to work good also gave students a little extra money. What works for you?

Nowadays, there are many marketing strategies for your business like article marketing, press release and email marketing.

Rocksage "press release" got my attention. How do I do it? Call the local newspaper with info about the opening? Do a mailing about the opening? Not sure exactly what you mean. thank you in advance for your responce.

If you are not involved with email marketing yet, this is something i strongly recommend. You can do all your advertising directly to your customers to let them know about new stores like this and just staying in touch and keeping your name in their head. We send out a coupon each month. Right now we are using ratepoint service. Its free up to 550 contacts. Other than that postcards work really well too.
